Lomography and Times Square Hong Kong proudly present: the Times Square Lomography Exhibition from 11th April to 3rd May 2011. This jaw-dropping exhibition is a unique introduction to the amazing analogue world of Lomography - the ultimate film photography movement. We would like to welcome you to this wonderful exhibition and hope you feast your eyes on the mind-blowing LomoWorldMap.

This exhibition is a sneak peek of the LomoWorldMap Project, it is a giant, walkable map made up entirely of individual, beautiful Lomographic photographs. Why not try relaxing on top of Russia or walking from Hong Kong to Canada?

But that’s not all! Head on inside to the second floor where the ultimate analogue experience awaits you. Our LomographyLand of giant, interactive cameras is an incredible place to have fun and get a glimpse of what Lomography is all about. Come and play with our humongous, interactive cameras, learn everything you ever wanted to know about analogue photography and much more! Oh, and did someone say free cameras? That’s right, we’re giving away free cameras every Saturday, so stop by and find out how you can get one too! We also have workshops every Sunday. The LomoWorldMap

The LomoWorldMap is one of our biggest and most exciting projects. The LomoWorldMap is about documenting the Lomographic perception of the world using geo-tagged pictures. In the next ten years we will create an enormous, walkable analogue map of the world – made entirely from Lomographs! One where the photos from each country or continent make up a real physical map you can walk across.

Imagine walking from Berlin to Moscow or London to Hamburg, Hong Kong to Paris, leaping across countries and continents – displayed in thousands and thousands of magnificent, unique Lomographs. Within a few minutes you can walk right across the Lomographic perception of a country – an entire continent – the world!

The LomoWorldMap is not just made up of just conventional landscape pictures – we want to show all the crazy parties, smiling faces, urban jungles, parachute jumps, wild road trips – anything you can think of! All of these pictures have been taken by Lomographers from all over the world using Lomography analogue film cameras. Individually, they are a beautiful Lomographic snapshot, a captured moment in life. Once they’re amalgamated together, they make up this incredible Lomographic representation of the world.

Times Square

The Lomography Times Square Hong Kong Exhibition will be held in Times Square Hong Kong. Times Square is the most popular and functional shopping mall in Hong Kong and is located in Causeway Bay. Times Square can be viewed as the ultimate one-stop-shop - a station, shopping, dining, and a great gathering spot all rolled into one. You can really get everything you want there. Besides, Times Square is also considered a public artistic place and it holds various art exhibitions, cultural projects, charity events as well as movie promotions.
